Step Three

"Let's do some selling!"

So now you have your contacts in a format and usable.  What do you do with them? This is the month that you learn how to use those e-mail addresses and other information to help market to your current customers. .

You will create your first 'Ezine" or "Newsletter" to be sent to those contacts. In order to make it interesting, you will have to plan its content.  You want to send valuable information to them, or else it will just be 'spam' like 90% of the other emails.  So what does that content need to be?·          Service tips?  (How do I change the filter in my fish bowl?)·          New product information? (New water additive extends life of fish filters!)·          Old product updates and enhancements?(New filter extends time between water changes!)·          A question and answer section based off of your FAQ's? (When is the best time to change the filter and water in my fish bowl?)     It's very important that you have information in your Ezine that is relevant to as many of your clients as possible.  You want each client to get something out of the Ezine.  If they don't, then you risk the chance of boring them.      The bottom line is that it is important that you keep in touch with your customers, and it is important that you keep in touch with them for a reason that makes sense to them.  If it is perceived as just another way to 'sell' them something, then it's nothing they can benefit from.  We can provide you with more information on this once we get started on this project.
