Each of your short descriptions of services should link to another page with even more details about the service you provide. The basic outline of each service or program on these pages should go something like this:
· Name of Service – Every service needs to have a name; it makes it real, it makes it memorable.
· Purpose of Service – This is the big objective that this service is designed to accomplish. "The purpose of this service is to increase the ability of managers to produce results more consistently through other people."
· Intended Results – This is all the various results and benefits a client can expect to receive as a result of using this service. "In this program participants will learn... (and then give several very specific, benefit oriented
things they will learn)"
· Structure – This is actually what happens in the course of this service being delivered. This is the process, the features, the "what happens." You really want to make sure you give a complete picture of how this service works. If it includes ten sessions over six weeks at an offsite
location, say that.
· Call to Action – This is a statement that encourages the prospect to call to find out more. It's not a bad idea to actually list your phone number here or include a short response form so that if they are interested they
can respond right then and there.
Give your prospects every bit of information they need to know to make an informed decision. Make sure to make your service descriptions interesting, even compelling. This is what you're selling after all. You can't bore somebody into buying your services.
